Vaccine name : PEDIACEL

Childhood 5-in-1 vaccine to guard against Diphtheria, Tetanus, Polio, Pertussis (Whooping Cough) and HIB.

MENINGITIS C

Vaccine name : NEISVAC-C / MENJUGATE

Used for babies from 6 weeks of age and adults to vaccinate against Meningitis C.

ROTAVIRUS

Vaccine name : ROTARIX

Rotarix protects against gastro-enteritis caused by the rotavirus infection.

A two dose oral vaccination given four weeks apart.
Rotavirus vaccine (Rotarix) is licensed for immunsiation of infants over 6 weeks of age provided they are not suffering from diarrhoea or vomitting. Good personal hygiene after changing babies nappy is well advised.

The first 1ml dose of vaccine is given by mouth and the second oral dose is administered at least 4 weeks later. Courses chould be completed by 24 weeks of age, but preferably before 16 weeks.
